Representing HKBIO, Prof Wendy HSIAO (Vice Chairman of HKBIO) was invited by CUHK Centre for Bioethics to attend the CUHK Center for Bioethics Launch Conference 2015. The conference, organized in collaboration with the Hastings Center and supported by the Central Policy Unit, was titled “Building Bioethics Capacity in Hong Kong: Ethical Dimensions of Policy for Ageing and Genetics”. The conference took place at Central Government Offices, Tamar on January 9-10. It brought together scholars from across the world to discuss ethical issues raised by rapid ageing and the development of new biomedical technologies in global cities.
