HKBIO was a supporting organization for the fourth edition of the Business of IP Asia Forum (BIP Asia), which was jointly organized by the Government of the HKSAR, HKTDC and Hong Kong Design Centre. 4th BIP Asia returned on 4-5 December 2014 under the theme: "Intellectual Property: Powering Business Expansion". The forum was an ideal platform for exchange and discussion among IP owners, buyers and intermediaries. More than 80 IP experts spoke at the Forum which attracted more than 2,000 industry players to attend. Breakout sessions targeted specific IP topics, including biotechnology, Chinese medicine, fashion design, wearable technology and file copyright trading.

The HKTDC signed memoranda of strategic cooperation with four institutions, from Beijing, Hong Kong, New Zealand and the Philippines to strength information exchange and cooperation in IP. For more details, please visit: www.bipasiaforum.com.
